Clarke Norvell is a Certified Public Accountant and licensed attorney in Tennessee, whose career has been defined by a singular focus: serving families. Whether navigating the complexities of estate planning, guiding closely held businesses or advising on financial strategies, Clarke approaches every plan and decision with a commitment to the people behind it.

His career began in public accounting, where he gained a strong foundation in financial reporting and tax strategy. Over time, his roles evolved to combine technical expertise with a deeply personal mission—helping families find peace-of-mind around their wealth.

As Chief Financial Officer for a local single-family office, Clarke oversaw a diverse portfolio of venture capital investments, real estate, operating businesses, and traditional investments.  The most rewarding part of this role was working directly with one family and building meaningful relationships that remain stronger than ever.

 

Since 2020, Clarke has served as Partner and Advisor at an independent trust company in Nashville, working closely with high-net-worth families to align their financial strategies with their values and long-term goals.

Clarke’s approach goes beyond the numbers. He takes the time to understand each family’s unique vision, aspirations and challenges, ensuring that every financial decision reflects their legacy.

Clarke holds a Juris Doctor from the Nashville School of Law (2021) and a Master of Accountancy from the University of Alabama (2009).

 

He is deeply committed to his community, serving in roles with organizations such as Best Buddies Middle Tennessee, Matthew 25 and PERSIST Nashville. He also serves as an outside committee member for a prominent Middle Tennessee family foundation, contributing expertise to support the family’s legacy and community impact

He lives in Green Hills with his wife, Liz, and their three children, where he enjoys balancing family life with his dedication to serving others.  They are members at Christ Presbyterian Church.
